Christmas is finally here and I really like it! Can we have Christmas everyday? Here are a couple pictures of me opening presents. I am so excited to play with everything I really don't feel like taking a nap even though I am exhausted! I even got to help open my baby sister's presents since she hasn't arrived yet (only 3 more days). Merry Christmas to my family and I send you my hugs and slobbery kisses. I will post more later after I take some pictures with my mom, dad and the belly baby.

My Christmas Tree

So one night my dad brought a tree into the house and we hung lights and decorations on it. It is really pretty. I want to touch it all the time, but I keep hearing 'no'. It is less than one week until Christmas. I can't wait to open presents. If my sister hasn't arrived yet, can I open her's too?

Wildlights!

Mom and Dad took me to the zoo this weekend. I really love Christmas lights and the zoo is decorated with over 2 million of them! Dad took me on my first Carousel ride - it is a restored ride made in 1914. I thought it was really cool and talked about the horses for the rest of the weekend. I also got some stuffed animals and cookies and a coloring book - what a great night!

22 Days till Christmas

So Duckie and I have been talking it over. There are only 22 days until Christmas! I really can't decide what to ask for. I love Dora, Barney and the Wiggles. Between the Christmas lights, presents and all the great things to eat - I think I could really get into this Christmas stuff.

Working Hard

Sorry for the delay between postings. My baby sister is arriving this month so mom has been working dad and I pretty hard. We have been busy setting up my new room, the babies room, cleaning and organizing. I had to refresh all the batteries in my toys so I could teach my baby sister how to use them. I really like helping dad with tools, especially the drill!

Halloween

Because my cousins gave me the nickname "Claire Bear" my mom thought it would be a good idea to dress up as one for Halloween. I can't say trick or treat yet, but I sure did get lots of candy anyways. The only problem is, my parents seem to think I'm too young to have candy.

What's that about?? I did all the work, getting dressed up, going from house to house, blowing kisses for thanks..

My friend McKenna had a super cool costume, she dressed up as Danica Patrick. We even got to go trick or treating together for a little bit. Too bad none of the pictures of us turned out though...

Boy my cheeks are sore today... I've got all my teeth, except what I'm told are my two-year molars. I'm not two yet, can't they wait another few months?

Pumpkin Farm and So Much More

On Saturday I dragged my parents out to the farm. You see, I had arranged to meet my friends McKenna and Rebecca there. I got to go on a hayride, feed the goats, see lamas and rabbits, play in a haybarn, and also a cornbox. (Like a sandbox, but with corn instead). Daddy and I picked out some pumpkins to carve later for Holloween. Not that I care much about the pumpikin carving... Did you know people give out FREE CANDY on Halloween? That's what I care about...

All Dressed Up

Hi Again.

A couple of weeks ago one of my daddys co-workers got married. I got to get all dressed up and put my dance lessons to the test. They had a neat Celtic band playing songs during the reception. Thanks Kara for letting me borrow your really pretty dress and shoes...

Dancing Lessons

I bet you didn't know that I have been secretly taking dancing lessons... For a little while now I have been watching dancing with the stars and trying to recreate their moves with my dance partner. Some of you may recall that I met him at Christmas time last year and he's been living with us ever since. His name is Patrick.

Unfortunately, Patrick is a little shy around me, and seems to get weak in the knees when I make him dance. So, I have to lead.

HorseParade

A Big How-dee Y'all..

Last week we went to what I was told would be an "all - horse parade". There was some pretty nice ones, and some not so nice ones... There was even some donkeys and mules. I don't know how the donkeys and mules snuck in.. I guess it was really a "mostly horse parade." Although, some of the mules were pretty well groomed and they even made some of the horses look bad...

I got to see my friends McKenna and Rebecca there.. If you pop over to McKenna's blog you'll see some nice pictures that McKenna's mom took.

Roughing it - Sort Of.

Camping was fun. So much fun I didn't get much sleep during the day. I mean really.. How is one supposed to take mid day naps inside of a large colorful tent. I found it much more fun to run from side to side bouncing off the springy walls. Yeah, we did do other 'camping stuff' like hiking, swimming, playing with twigs in the sand and cooking on the open fire. But really, no matter what anyone tells you, playing inside outside, and on the tent was the most fun.

Lets Go Swimming, Swimming, Swimming...

Last week my parents and I went camping at Canada's Bruce Pennisula National Park. While there I got to go swimming no less than three times. I had a really fun time playing in the sand and waves at Sauble beach (South of the Park, on Lake Huron). Dad found the water a bit cold at first, but since I'm impervious to cold, I didn't mind. But just between you and me, Mom didn't go in past her knees.

We also went swimming in the crystal clear waters of Georgian bay, which was just a short hike from the campsite. Some older kids were jumping off the cliffs into the water. I had a hard time just standing on the slippery rocks.

Happy Birthday Grandpa !!

Grandpa turned 65 This Week. So we all got together and surprised him. That's him in the funny hat. I made him where all those colorful leis. Auntie Lynette came from far far away to visit, which was nice. My Cousin Kiera was cool, and my Uncle Trevor was his usual self. Aunt Vanessa showed me a salamander. I got to try out my new backpack with Dad while hiking in the woods. There was soo many people there. Dad says he took some candid shots that he may use at a later date. Whatever that means..

Life Skills

Dad has been negligent updating my blog he says he's sorry...

A little while ago I learned how to text message, while riding my bike. I also experimented with eating with a fork. My hair has been getting longer, so Mom thought it would be fun to put it into a pony tail.

Weekend with the Fam.

Well My Grandparents made it down from the great white north for the weekend. Grandpa gave really good horsey rides on his knee, played peekabo and even read to me. We also made it to the zoo, where Grandma seemed to like the plants just as much as the animals. Unfortunately my dad didn't take as many pictures as I would have liked. But Grandma sure did, she filled up two cameras with images. Now all she has to do is send them to me so I can post them..

World Cup Fever Continues

Well I watched a bit of the world cup with my Dad. I liked it when the crowds cheered, and when they did, I clapped along. After watching the soccer matches I figured I give it a go. I don't think Mia Hamm has anything to worry about.... yet.

Weekend of Holidays

Well my cousins came down to visit for Canada day and the 4th of July. It was pretty warm this weekend, so we spent as much time as we could outside in a new, bigger pool. Aunt Nancy and Uncle Tim gave me a new elmo sprinkler which I thought was pretty fun as well. Even though most of us were feeling a bit under the weather with a mystery bug, we still managed to have fun.

I can't wait to visit them in August.

Stop And Smell The Flowers

Mommy taught me how to stop and smell the flowers. So now I have to stop at every flower I see and smell. My nose isn't quite good enough unless I get real close though. Daddy said with me around we don't need the bees to pollinate.
