Happy Easter

Guess What!! The Easter Bunny snuck into our house last night and hid eggs filled with candy all over the house. We had a great time finding all the eggs and eating candy first thing in the morning. Easter is cool!! Or as my sister Sarah says - 'hop hop'

Here is Sarah collecting eggs.

Mmmm, my first marsh mellow peep.

We went to the zoo easter event on Friday called Eggs, Paws & Claws. It was chilly but lots of fun.

Look - I hugged a bald eagle!

And a Koala Bear!

Sarah is now old enough to ride the horses with me. She wasn't very patient standing in line, but once we were on she was happy.

Yippee! Easter is cool. I wonder if mom will let me have more candy now??

Here is a little glimpse of Easter morning at our house. Below I would like to share an Easter song with you - Enjoy!!

Hockey Night In Ohio

Well it is Saturday night and the Leafs are playing the Senators. I have been taunting my mom the last few days that Toronto is the best and the Senators are yucky! Finally the hit the ice so I can prove it.

I've got my hat and good luck bear. Mom wonders with a smile, why I picked the bear who is injured to wear the leafs shirt? I told her a senator guy hurt the bear and he should get a time out!

Oh, this is gonna be a nail bitter! What do you mean I have to go to bed??? Dad told me the next morning that we won and Ottawa lost. So I was right mom! Guess I am good luck!

Headin' to Farm Country...

This weekend we headed out in our new ride to a see a historical farm in the countryside. Claire is now out of my reach, so I'll have to find a new way to entertain myself on these longer trips.

For the most part, I got to ride on Dad's back in my carrier.

We saw lots of farm animals. Chickens, horses, cows, some bulls... These two turkeys were strutting around making a large fuss, but the third one didn't seem to care.

Pigs sure do stink.. This one was all alone.

Dad found his buddy hanging out in the smokehouse..

My favorite part were the newborn lambs. They looked so young..

And they were even calling out just like it said in my books.

It was only near the end of the visit did they let me walk on my own..

come on dad.. I want to go back this way, to see the chickens one more time..

Tea Party

It was a bright sunny day so we decided instead of messing up the kitchen we would take our tea party outside. I recently discovered that true princesses have tea parties all the time so I try to have at least 2 or 3 a day. My sister and I like to sip our water tea and have little snacks.

Yippee we are outside!! I of course had to wear my dress and tights outside. Mom is still trying to convince me that princesses wear jeans.

The snow comes in handy. It is the 'sugar' in our tea!

Mmmmm...Delicious!
Mom made a little video to show how nice we can play together. Three cheers for spring!!

Blizzard of '08

Wow! It snowed for 24 hours this weekend and we set a new record for snowfall - 21 inches! Almost feels like we are in Canada! Since Ohio doesn't have that many snowplows in Columbus and they don't plow residential streets, we were stuck at home for a while. At least we have lots of snow to play in.

Here is our new minivan. Too bad we aren't going anywhere!

Claire with her eye protection!

Hey - where are my toys??

Is it spring yet??
