Springtime

It has been so nice and warm the past few days. We have all the windows open and it is still March! Sarah and I have been getting lots of fresh air and playing in the backyard. I like to chase the soccer ball, dig in the dirt and splash in the puddles. Sarah likes being outside and has mastered grabbing her toys and directing them to her mouth. Dad is home with us know since Mom went back to work last week. We are having so much fun, but I keep telling my parents I need a swingset to play on....

Playoff Run

This one is for you Grandma and Daddy. I am kinda scared that the Leaf's might not make the playoffs so I thought I would get dressed up for good luck. Grandma, you can print off my picture and I can sit beside you on the couch for luck during the next game.

Don't mind the little scratch on my nose - just a little hockey fight.

Love Sarah

I heard you wanted to see our cute pictures on the blog so I complained to my mom that we should have our own special posting. So this one is just for you Aunt Nancy!

Sarah Meets The Family

Claire and I went to Canada last weekend so I could meet the family. I met 30 people over 3 days, so needless to say I was held and kissed a lot! It was great to be snuggled and get so really cool gifts - thanks everyone. I also need to thank my Grandma & Grandpa who had a house full of people everyday, because they all wanted to see me! I had a really great trip and smiled for everyone. I am going through withdrawls of being held all day now - can't wait to go back and visit soon!

Tea With Grandma

While in Canada we made a trip to Brussels to visit my Great Grandma Thomas. She got to meet and snuggle with Sarah. I had my first real tea party - I even got to use real china! (Mom and Dad seemed a little nervous). Grandma also made me some treats and I had my first truffle and candied strawberry. Sugar sure tastes good! Add to the list of first's that I didn't take a nap at all that day thanks to all the sugar in my system. I also woke up in the middle of the night and asked for more candy - just a little bit, but mom said 'no'. Grandma gave us a bunch more candy to take home and I can't wait to get another piece!

Snow, and lots of it

I have never seen so much snow (mind you it is only my second winter!) There was so much snow at Grandma & Grandpa's house I couldn't see over the banks for walk down the stairs off the deck, so I made it into a slide. Dad took me outside to play and I had a bunch of new '1st' experiences. My first tubing run, first snowmobile ride, first snowshoe and first snowman. What a great time.

I came home today to 70 degree weather and no snow - a little confusing for a little girl.

Playmates!

Wow, I had so many friends to play with while I was in Canada. My cousins Tyler and Travis came over everyday to play and my pal Braedyn came over as well. I followed them around everywhere, waited by the door for them to come back and asked for them as soon as I woke up. I sure am going to miss them - can't wait for my next visit. Thanks boys for watching Dora and playing dolls with me!

1 - 2 - 3

I have been thrilling my parents recently. Last weeek I put together a puzzle and my train set all by myself. I decided to surpirse my mom today and let her know that I really am listening (even though I pretend I am not). I was sitting in front of my toys today playing, and out of the blue counted to 13 all by myself. Mom always counts the stairs as we go up and down so I am learning to count also. Mom was pretty shocked and quite excited. Guess I should have kept quiet though, now dad is looking forward to teaching me all about math.

Sarah has been thrilling mom and dad also. Look at the head control! She will be chasing me around and stealing my toys any day now!
