Cupcakes!

Happy Holidays!!! Well it is almost Christmas and we are gearing up for some serious spoiling! We thought it would be fun to invite all our friends over for a little cupcake decorating party. What could be better than sugar, sprinkles and candy?

Under the Christmas tree.

Sarah getting into the holiday spirit!

Mmmmm, sugar.

Sarah had her first taste of cupcake that night as well. Mom found the cutest Christmas shirt for her that says "best present ever" Ahhhhhh....

Our friends are here - Yeah!!!!

Let the decorating mayhem begin!

Icing fight!

McKenna was the artist of the evening. She was very deliberate about her cupcake decorating and they looked great. Thanks for a great party everyone and have a great holiday! See you when I get back from Grandma & Grandpa's place!

Wildlights

Recently we went on an outing to the zoo. They host 'wildlights' at Christmas and they decorate the zoo with over 3 million lights. It was really beautiful! Our friend McKenna came with us and we all got to stay out past our bedtime!

Brrr, finally some chilly weather. It was Honda night so we all got some presents and giant cookies!

McKenna and Claire decided to walk and hold hands as they looked at lights. As adorable as it was they kept holding up a huge line of people behind them.

I didn't want to ride in the stroller either, but I had mom to carry me around.

Hi everyone, aren't we adorable?

By the end of the evening we were all exhausted and we had to get home quick before we all had a meltdown. Thanks for the lights - can you make our house look like that daddy?

Gingerbread Disaster

Yeah, great idea mom. Today we decided to build our gingerbread house. For some reason the icing would not harden and this resulted in a gingerbread disaster.

Claire was not impressed! Better luck next time.

Catching Up

Hey Everybody! With our recent computer change it has been a while since our last update. Sorry about that. Here are some random pictures from the last few weeks. We have been having a great time with the cool weather, playing in the leaves and going to the park.

Sarah in the leaves.

Look mom, no hands! Sarah is on the verge of walking any day now.

Ahh, look at how well we get along. I love my big sister.

See, still getting along and sharing a toy.

Playing in the leaves.

Giving my sister a nice kiss. Mom wanted photographic evidence that we do sometimes get along and play nice.

Oh my gosh, a barbie!

well, that is a quick overview of our fall frolic!

A Quick Visit

We finally got to go visit Grandma & Grandpa last weekend. Sarah and I had a great time playing with them and our cousins!! We can't wait to go back for Christmas - get some rest G&G, we are coming back soon.

Ah, I missed my cousin Travis!

I got to drive Grandma's golf cart around the yard.

Then I helped dad rake leaves!

Sarah had lots of snuggles and playtime with Tyler.

Grandpa made me some bacon & eggs. I love it!

Grandma helped me try to convert mom into a Toronto fan. (Didn't work though)

Of course, Sarah got kissed and kissed all day!

Sarah kept everyone busy helping her walk.

Only 38 days until we come back!

Haircut!

Well the time has come for my first haircut. I had hair in my eyes so the whole family went off to Cookie Cutters. I got to sit in this cool race car seat and play with toys. Despite mom's fears, I did a great job! No crying at all - I liked all the attention.

I chose this chair just for you Grandma!

A little trim - nothing to it mom!

Yeah, I can see! I'm a big girl now!

Candy!!!

Happy Halloween!!!

Halloween finally arrived and boy were we ready! We started off the day going to a Halloween Party at the library. It was really fun and I got to eat candy in the morning!

After a little rest it was time to go trick-or-treat! Mom tried to have a little photo shoot in the yard, but we were a little to excited to concentrate or sit still.

Finally, we are off. Dad took us around the block while mom handed out candy to all the other kids who came over.

After all that walking I was tuckered out and Sarah had to get to bed. I stayed outside to help hand out candy to any other kids that came.

Look at my loot!!! I love to look at it and touch it and ask what every piece is! This is great, can't wait until next year!!!!!

Here is a sample of my dragon roar - people thought it I was really cute (of course)!

Sarah's Eating Adventures

Hey everybody. Can you believe I am 10 months old today! Wow, time flies when you are sleeping, eating and playing all day! I thought I would share some of the new things I have learned lately in regards to eating.

Step 1. Get your spoon and bib so you are ready for action.

Step 2. Don't wait to be served, just help yourself.

Step 3. Quickly shove as much as you can in your mouth before the parents take it away. Then they dole out the food in little pieces and it just isn't as fun.

Step 4. Go for desert. Repeat step 2 and help yourself.

Step 5. Burp when full. It is a sign of a good meal.

Boo At The Zoo

This weekend Mom & Dad took us to Boo At The Zoo for a little Trick or Treat practice run. Did you know if you say trick or treat people give you candy? This is so awesome! We saw lots of great costumes and I wasn't scared a bit. I (Claire) am going to be a dragon. I am a scary dragon and I like to roar and chase my mom around. Sarah is going to be a bumblebee. Strangely enough she got bit by a bee on Friday, but she is okay. My only complaint was the weather - it was almost too hot to wear my costume. Mom kept saying she misses the days when it used to snow on Halloween.

Here is Sarah hanging with the pumpkins before the zoo.

Claire the dragon and a new friend.

The girls - posing for mom.

We saw the gorilla exhibit. Then dad said they did something really gross and we had to leave?? What did they do dad?

Awww - the girls.

Buzz, Buzz Bumblebee, I must be on my way.

By the end of our trip the little bee was exhausted. The dragon however was still going strong and can't wait to Trick or Treat some more!
