Gymnastics

Now that I am 2.5 I am old enough to start gymnastics class. I love it! My favorite parts are doing headstands and hanging on the bars. After only 2 classes I can do a sommersault all by myself and make it across the balance beam.

Not to be outdone, Sarah has decided she better start practicing gymnastics at home. My sister is always copying me!

Oh My.....

Sarah has learned to scream for attention (or just for fun) and also mastered crawling. Looks like we are in for double trouble now!

Recent Happenings

An update from our world....Only 100 days until Sarah's birthday. The countdown is officially on! Now that I am getting bigger, my sister and I are learning to play together. Claire taught me about flowers the other day. Turns out they are not for eating.

I have been learning to play with all sorts of new toys.

Last weekend we went to the zoo. They were having a fall festival so we met up with our friend Aidan for a chilly, but fun playdate. Claire had a great time petting the new baby goats.

Me, I sat in the stroller and tried to stay warm!

We had a great time watching the river otters - they kept swimming over right to us.

Claire kept wanting to go back and pet the goats more. Good thing she had an cute, warm sweater from Aunt Lori to keep her warm, yet stylish.

Cool Weather!

Well the weather has finally turned cool and this family is excited! Today we decided to head out and explore a new park and have a picnic lunch. It was a great adventure and it tuckered us out pretty well.

Here mom convinced me to sit still for 10 seconds so she could take a picture of us together.

Sarah, exploring her surroundings and doing her best to stay off the blanket.

I can climb mountains now that I am big.

The semi-crawling Sarah.

Look mom, one hand!

Catch!

We had a great time on our picnic! I Wonder how many different parks we can visit this fall?

My High Chair

I love my high chair. Yes, I inherited a lot of hand-me-downs, but the high chair is one of my favorites. I eat in it three times a day, hang out and watch mom cook and clean, watch my sister colour and even take the occasional nap in it.

This weekend I cut both my front top teeth so I have been feeling a little 'grumpy'.

But I can still give a smile and wave to my family out there!
