Sarah's Eating Adventures

Hey everybody. Can you believe I am 10 months old today! Wow, time flies when you are sleeping, eating and playing all day! I thought I would share some of the new things I have learned lately in regards to eating.

Step 1. Get your spoon and bib so you are ready for action.

Step 2. Don't wait to be served, just help yourself.

Step 3. Quickly shove as much as you can in your mouth before the parents take it away. Then they dole out the food in little pieces and it just isn't as fun.


Step 4. Go for desert. Repeat step 2 and help yourself.



Step 5. Burp when full. It is a sign of a good meal.

Boo At The Zoo

This weekend Mom & Dad took us to Boo At The Zoo for a little Trick or Treat practice run. Did you know if you say trick or treat people give you candy? This is so awesome! We saw lots of great costumes and I wasn't scared a bit. I (Claire) am going to be a dragon. I am a scary dragon and I like to roar and chase my mom around. Sarah is going to be a bumblebee. Strangely enough she got bit by a bee on Friday, but she is okay. My only complaint was the weather - it was almost too hot to wear my costume. Mom kept saying she misses the days when it used to snow on Halloween.

We saw the gorilla exhibit. Then dad said they did something really gross and we had to leave?? What did they do dad?

By the end of our trip the little bee was exhausted. The dragon however was still going strong and can't wait to Trick or Treat some more!

Cookies!

Only 15 more days till Trick or Treat!!! Sarah and I have our costumes all ready to go. Mom thought it would be a good idea to make some Halloween Cookies today. I did a great job with the icing don't you think?

Sarah and I send out Happy Anniversary wishes to Grandma and Grandpa today!!!

Pumpkin Patch

Well after weeks of talking and waiting it was finally time to go to the Pumpkin Patch!! I have been so excited about this and waiting to wear my Halloween shirt!

Here is dad and I feeding the goats. I was a little unsure this year - they tickled my hands, so I let dad finish the feeding.

I went on the Banana Boat ride - all by myself!!

Sarah and I rode a wild pig!!

The girls in the barn - they had lambs, cows, pigs, rabbits and goats.

Sarah had her first taste of a pulled chicken sandwich with gravy. She loved it!!! Forget that yucky baby cereal.

Our friend McKenna met us at the pumpkin patch. Our silly parents tried to make us pose for pictures with the pumpkins.

After about 20 shots, dad finally got a picture with us both looking in the same direction. Thank goodness for digital cameras!

McKenna and I got to roll in big tubes and go on some big slides - then have some popcorn!

What a great day!!!! Only 17 more days until trick or treat time!!!!

Movin' On Up

Wow, I discovered these how these leg things work! Now I can pull up on everything and stand. My sister isn't too thrilled with this discovery - she likes to hide snacks and toys from me by putting them on the coffee table or couch, but now I am onto that trick.



Look, one hand. I'll be cruising and walking in no time. I can't wait to get my hands on some holiday decorations!
