I'm a big(er) girl now.

Even though I'm only two.
Last week I learned something new.

I climbed out of my crib at nap time one day.
Cause I didn't want to sleep. I wanted to play!

This worried mom and dad I think.
I don't know why they raised a stink.

They're the ones who paid for gymnastics.
I can't help it if I'm just fantastic.

Also, Claire had a big bed before I came to be.
And she say's I'm big enough now see...

So off to IKEA we went.
A full day of shopping we spent.

Loaded up the minivan with boxes did we.
A big girl bed for me!!

Claire helped put it together.
I think she doest like to hammer.

I couldn't wait to try my new bed out.
Even though it does make mommy pout.

There's no more baby crib you see.
But that's just fine by me!

Friends and Flowers!

We were all craving a little spring so today we met up with our friends Jonas and Lily at the Conservatory.

We had to feed the fish!

It was so nice to run around without a coat and breathe some humid air! It did activate Mom's travel bug though!

Look we match! It was unintentional, Claire dressed herself while I dressed Sarah.

This was Sarah's first outing without the backup of a stroller. She usually would much rather ride and suck her thumb than walk, but I guess we are all craving a little spring. Today she was happy to follow Claire's lead.

If you have any doubt's about what Mom would like for Valentine's - she said this would be a good hint. We had a great time with our friends - see you all again soon!

Winter Fun

Oh Baby it's cold outside and we love it! Must be the Canadian blood eh? We had a little snow so Dad set up a little slide for us to enjoy.

We made a cool snowman named 'candy cane'

And had a snowball fight!

We had no coal, so we used olives for eyes and a mouth. Yummy!

I love him!

Below are a few videos of our sliding adventures. Maybe the parents will finally get around to building us a playcenter soon!

Obama!

Give me an O!

We recently had a celebration at our house. President Obama took office and mom decided we should watch and learn a little about this historic day.

In the morning we made 'Bye Bye Bush' muffins, then we watched the ceremony. Two thumbs up from me!
