Mom had asked me when I turned 4 last month if I wanted to get my ears pierced, but I wasn't quite ready.
Today, I announced out of the blue that I was ready and wanted to go - right now.

I was only a little worried. I held Mom's hand and gave the bear a squeeze.
No problem at all! I am a super brave princess.
