I have been thrilling my parents recently. Last weeek I put together a puzzle and my train set all by myself. I decided to surpirse my mom today and let her know that I really am listening (even though I pretend I am not). I was sitting in front of my toys today playing, and out of the blue counted to 13 all by myself. Mom always counts the stairs as we go up and down so I am learning to count also. Mom was pretty shocked and quite excited. Guess I should have kept quiet though, now dad is looking forward to teaching me all about math.

Sarah has been thrilling mom and dad also. Look at the head control! She will be chasing me around and stealing my toys any day now!

Smile Time

Hey everybody I have mastered the art of smiling - check out my glamour shots! This week I have also started cooing and almost laughing for my mom. My sister and I are getting our pictures taken tomorrow so I guess I have mastered this skill just in time.

Woo Hoo, A Trip To The Zoo!

It was warm this morning and we all wanted out of the house for a little fresh air so Mom & Dad took us to the zoo! It was really fun and not busy so I got the animals all to myself for the most part. I saw monkey's having breakfast, fish swimming, rhino's eating hay and a lizard digging a hole. I have decided that snakes are 'yucky', but turtles are 'nice'. Of course, the best part was seeing the penguin when he decided to poop - I just can't stop talking about it! Sarah slept through the whole trip, but mom says we can go back again soon - can't wait!

Happy Heart Day to all our family out there.

Everyone is a little under the weather today and there was a snowstorm so we all got to stay home together today. We opened some presents and wore these cool clothes. Mom says we have to save the chocolate cupcakes for a day when we are all feeling better (oh man!). Thought we would share these cute pictures with you.

C: Mommy, me beach?

M: Yes, Claire we will go to the beach when it gets warm

C: Mommy, ice away, me beach?

M: Yes Claire.

C: Daddy, Mommy, baby, me, beach?

M: Yes Claire we will all go to the beach.

C: Splash Daddy?

M: Yes, you can splash Daddy.

C: Mommy splash?

M: Yes, Mommy will splash.

C: Baby splash?

M: No, Sarah can't splash yet she is too small.

C: Me splash?

M: Yes you can splash.

C: Mommy, beach ice away?

Repeat this conversation 40 times and you get a sense of life with Claire. We decided to take her swimming at the pool this weekend. She had a great time and now we have started a new obsession.

C: Mommy, swim me?

M: Yes, Claire we will go swimming.

C: More, pool? Splash, Daddy, ice away?

M: Yes, Claire.

And on, and on, and on......

Hi There.. This is Sarah reporting in. Last week was a real eye-opener for me. My sister Claire let me lie in her big girl bed, which I must say had a really soft pillow. Claire was giving me the elbow, but that's ok, cause at least I know how to button up my sweater...

Dad thinks he's such a comedian. He kept making all these silly faces and sounds. At first I just kinda thought he had gas or something, cause that's what I do when I have gas. But then I realized he didn't so I guess it was kinda funny. - Sort of... What wasn't funny was how he styled my hair after my bath. It stayed spiky for soo long. Lori - Could you have a word with him?
