Reporting in - just back from an exciting trip to Grandma & Grandpa's house! We had a great time with the family. I talked from sunrise to sunset and then some.

I So Excited!!!

My cousins are an awesome bunch. Sarah and I had sooooo much fun with them that we barely had time to sleep! Thanks for making our trip so much fun.

I went to my cousin Travis' graduation from kindergarten. He sang songs, got a diploma and we ate chocolate cake. I can't wait to go to school!!

We went to the beach. Although it was cold we still had lots of fun swimming, flying kites and playing in the sand.

I learned what a watergun is.....it was so exciting I was saying watergun in my sleep.

It wasn't all boy stuff. My cousins are so nice they did girly things with me, like smelling flowers.

We have a mission! We have to get Leo's baton back from the bald eagle! Everybody chase the bald eagle!!!

I found the Little Einstein's rocketship!!! Apparently Grandpa installed it in his backyard!!

My cousin Amy came to visit us as well. She has lots of energy to play with us and she taught Sarah how to swing.



Kyle made me a bracelet and snuggled with Sarah. He loves hanging with us!

Well boys, Sarah and I had a great time visiting with you. I was really sad to leave and I want to come back really soon. Miss you already!

Gosh, I'm Adorable!

Sarah reporting in....I am almost 6 months old already. Mom and Dad can't believe it. I am learning new things everyday. I know how to use my voice and compete for airtime with my sister. This is not easy, let me tell you. I am also on the verge of getting my first tooth. It is ready to pop through anyday now and I have been complaining about this to mom.

I really like taking a bath. Don't I look adorable in my towel?


I am getting really comfortable with tummy time and I roll over everytime I get floor time.

I am also getting really good at grabbing and I like to practice on my sister's curly hair. For some reason, my sister doesn't like this. Oh well, just wait until I get teeth!

Its Hammer Time!!!

Daddy had to go to Lowes just to get some painting supplies. Apparently the trim on the house is in a state of disrepair. Little did he know that I was going to make him work on one of the woodworking projects when we got there.... I saw the little workbenches all set up and immediatly knew I wanted to Hammer.

Claire: Daddy? me Hammer? Please Daddy? Please?
Dad: Oh, ok Claire. I guess so.



Claire: Look Daddy me Hammering!!!
Dad: Yes Claire, you're doing a good job.

....Lots of hammering later... I finished the picture frame. (Daddy helped just a little bit..)

Claire: Daddy me hammer more?
Dad: No Claire, you can only make one picture frame. you did a good job Claire.. Look you get a Certificate!! And a little shop apron..

Claire: Daddy me hammer more?
Dad: No Claire. maybe next week. (and more bribes to get her out of the store) Lets go show mommy!!

And Mom wonders why it always takes so long when daddy goes to the hardware store....

Food Experiments

Today my sister and I both tried new foods. For me, it was my first taste of vegetables. Mom and Dad decided to give me sweet potatoes. Guess there is no turning back now!

Hmm, first taste not so bad.

Second bite, not so sure about this mom. Are you sure it's food?

Third bite - okay, not so bad, but I'm done with this for today. Can I have more cereal instead?

My sister Claire got to help make banana pudding and since she ate her peas and turkey she got to eat her desert. Hardly seems fair - she gets pudding and I get sweet potatoes!

Of course, it tasted great! Can we have desert every night?
