Today we went on a trip to a local apple orchard to harvest our own apples. They had over 100 varieties of apples and you could sample as many as you like.

We took full advantage of the sample opportunity!

Mmmm, yummy.

Sarah was so busy eating she had trouble keeping up with us.

I was very good at selecting apples and was careful to look for bug holes or bruises. Mom says I am a professional.

After all the work of selecting just the right apples, it was time for some play. Hide and seek in the apple orchard anyone?

Here is Sarah munching her 3rd apple of the morning.

After the apple orchard mom took us for a little playtime and a picnic. We love picnics.
Sarah has decided she is big enough to do slides all by herself.

Mom finds Sarah's independent streak to be a hair-raising experience!
Well, the final verdict is apples are delicious - unless mom cooks them with a whole bunch of yucky stuff, serves them with rice, pork and broccoli - then they are just yucky!
